How can I buy your pottery?
Unfortunately, I currently have no pottery for sale.
Do you sell online?
Sometimes, but not currently.
What kind of knucklehead doesn’t sell online all the time?
The busy kind? The awesome part about pottery is making it. Taking pictures of it, measuring it, pricing it, packing it, and shipping it is a drag. Some years I am willing to do it for far away fans of my work, but this isn’t one of those years.
Do you do commissioned work?
Nope. I make things and if you like them, you can buy them. If not, no hard feelings. With commissioned work, there are too many opportunities for someone to be disgruntled. Who wants to be disgruntled? Not me.
Can I put my new pottery in the dishwasher/microwave? Yes you can! The oven too. Although, you should never take a dish from the refrigerator and place it directly into a hot oven as it will likely crack. Also, careful how you arrange things in the dishwasher so as to avoid chipping.
Is your pottery food safe?
Yes, it is! I only use clay and glazes that are certified non toxic/lead free. I eat exclusively off of dishes I’ve made and I’m still here.
I saw this piece of pottery once (or this glaze color or this guy at a picnic) can you conjure that for me?
Sadly, no. If you see things out in the world that you want, you need to seize the opportunities as they present themselves! Don’t come crawling to me when you fail to act because I can’t help you.
What is the meaning of life? Connection, so, be kind. To yourself, to the people around you, to the planet, be kind.
